Regional Nirmithi Kendra, Ernakulam was set up in 1994. We have got a construction wing to carry out various projects in Government and Non governmental departments. A consultancy wing is functioning for preparing report, design and estimate preparation. A Housing guidance cell is functioning for the public. Production centre is set up for producing Hollow concrete blocks, Solid concrete blocks, concrete door, window, ventilator frames, water tanks, well ring , Flower pots etc.
A testing lab is set up for the quality testing of various building materials, cubes, etc and we undertake mix design also. Kalavara’s were set up in Kalamassery and Edakkattuvayal to give building materials like cement, steel etc at reduced rates to BPL families. Various artisans training programmes are conducting in the centre .
We also give training programmes to Engineering college students, residential associations etc and also conducts seminars and workshops in collaboration with various universities.
